Honor Aretha Franklin’s music & influence on a new channel that’s sweeter than honey

Pay R-E-S-P-E-C-T to the Queen of Soul as The Aretha Franklin Channel joins the SiriusXM lineup for a limited time.

The Aretha Franklin Channel will feature Franklin’s iconic catalog, from her early recordings to biggest hits, which have withstood the test of time. Listeners can also expect to hear music from artists that have been influenced by Franklin. The Aretha Franklin Channel will be available on the SiriusXM app in the Hip-Hop/R&B category. Channel 49 (Soul Town) will become The Aretha Franklin Channel from February 15 at 12pm ET through February 21.

Explore the making of some of the Queen of Soul’s biggest hits on In Studio With Aretha hosted by three-time GRAMMY-winning producer Narada Michael Walden. The special premieres February 15 at 6pm ET with rebroadcasts on February 17 at 12pm ET and February 19 at 6pm ET.

Tune in for The Queen & Clive, an exploration of Franklin’s groundbreaking soul hits with host Clive Davis, a five-time GRAMMY winner, music executive, and a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, on February 16 at 12pm ET.

Kirk Franklin plays some of Aretha’s greatest gospel hits on Wholy Holy with Kirk Franklin on February 21 at 12pm ET.

This year, SiriusXM is launching SiriusXM Celebrates Black History Month to honor Black achievements, culture, and more through new limited-run channels and specialty programming. Limited-engagement channels saluting powerful, pioneering Black artists Aretha Franklin, Jimi Hendrix, and Miles Davis, as well as recognizing the sounds and artists from legendary record label Motown, will be available throughout the month of February.
