As athletes and other big names in sports continue to share their thoughts on the racial injustice happening across America, SiriusXM is proud to present SiriusXM NFL Radio’s “Forward Progress,” a special discussion among well-known NFL voices as part of the Sports From the Sidelines series On Demand via Mad Dog Sports Radio (Ch. 82).

Listen to retired NFL players and current NFL Radio hosts Solomon Wilcots, Brad Hopkins, and Kirk Morrison, as well as guests Demario Davis and Ted Cottrell speak about societal injustices and how they can be reformed on the “Forward Progress” episode of Sports From the Sidelines.

Davis is a linebacker for the New Orleans Saints. Cottrell is a retired NFL player who previously coached various teams throughout the league and most recently served as defensive coordinator for the XFL’s Houston Roughnecks.

All five men talked about issues that the Black community faces — economic disparities, systemic racism, white members of society feeling racism isn’t their problem because they haven’t experienced it, and more. The show also focused on how they all feel about the movement happening right now and what white allies can do as part of their everyday lives to help the Black community.
