While Lewis Capaldi may not have won Song of the Year on the GRAMMY Awards stage, his campaign for the hearts of SiriusXM and Pandora listeners is still on lock. Earlier this month, just days before the 62nd GRAMMY Awards, 2019 breakout artist and 2020 nominee Capaldi performed an intimate invitation-only set at The Garage performance space in SiriusXM Hollywood Studios, followed by a Q&A session with a select group of audience members.
This live performance, which served as a thank you to SiriusXM and Pandora’s efforts early on and through 2019 to break Capaldi in the U.S., will air on The Pulse (Ch. 15) throughout the weekend and next week at the times below (all in ET). Select songs from the show will be available to Pandora listeners and a Pandora Story from Capaldi will be available at a later date.

Capaldi and his single “Someone You Loved” had a wildly successful 2019, garnering No. 1s on the Billboard Hot 100, Top 40 Radio chart, Hot AC Radio chart, Shazam chart, and ultimately earning him a 2020 GRAMMY Award nomination in the Song of the Year category. To break through in the U.S., Capaldi got help from SiriusXM and Pandora to propel his song to the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 for three weeks, marking the first No. 1 single from a debut U.K. artist since February 2016. “Someone You Loved” was first played in the U.S. on The Pulse in December 2018. Employing the curatorial skill and audience reach of SiriusXM and Pandora, following SiriusXM’s acquisition of Pandora in early 2019, Capaldi was the first artist to receive this focused approach by the two audio platforms working together.
