Oh Mylanta! Candace Cameron Bure is leaving The View after two years on the daytime talk show, she announced on-air Thursday.

The actress cited her commitment to Fuller House as one reason for the change: She was traveling across coasts to fit in both gigs and missing out on time with her family.

With season 2 of the Full House revival streaming on Netflix now, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber stopped by Wake Up with Taylor to chat about the series and their friend’s career choice.

“So her work schedule and being a mom and everything, it really is crazy,” host Taylor Strecker said.

“Yeah, I don’t know how she was doing it,” Sweetin said, explaining that the commute to The View’s New York City set proved difficult. “She’s a mom, she’s got three kids, we all are, and it’s hard to be away from your family that much.”

Still, “I have to say, I am so proud of her on that show,” Sweetin added. “She did such an amazing job. She really stood her ground on some things that weren’t always easy to talk about, and I was always so proud of her. She I think went in there knowing what she wanted to do, and I think that she did a really great job at it.”
