Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, right, hands the Vincent Lombardi trophy to Nick Foles after winning the NFL Super Bowl 52 football game against the New England Patriots, Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, in Minneapolis. The Eagles won 41-33.

The Philadelphia Eagles are no longer underdogs. But while the City of Brotherly Love basks in the glory of its first-ever Super Bowl championship, a tough question must be asked: When the future of their franchise, Carson Wentz, heals from a torn ACL, will the Eagles decide to trade away Nick Foles despite his legendary postseason run?

When we last talked to him on SiriusXM NFL Radio (Ch. 88), Foles had just won the Super Bowl, so it was no surprise that his future wasn’t top of mind.

Luckily, our hosts are more than eager to weigh in on  the QB’s future. Movin’ the Chains’ Pat Kirwan isn’t buying the idea that Philadelphia will trade away Foles, and he makes a compelling point as to why.

“The two quarterbacks combined for $14 million in cap space…there’s a lot of teams that don’t have one quarterback for $14 million,” Kirwan said.
