The NBA regular season finally kicks off in earnest on Tuesday, Oct. 17 following a rollercoaster offseason in which some of the league’s biggest names swapped uniforms.

First, let’s get this squared away right now. You came for the channel info and schedules, so here you go.

Now that you’re all set with the details, can we talk about how great these opening slate of games are? Not only do you have the Golden State Warriors taking on the Houston Rockets in Chris Paul’s first game alongside James Harden, but the Kyrie Irving-led Boston Celtics will square off a Cleveland Cavaliers squad that now boasts former Celtic Isaiah Thomas, Derrick Rose and Dwyane Wade.

There is also a full slate of games on Wednesday, then a particularly interesting matchup when Carmelo Anthony and his new Oklahoma City Thunder team take on the recently ditched New York Knicks. Are the Knicks going to take it personally that Melo told SiriusXM NBA Radio that he lacked motivation in New York?

Other questions: Will any of the new-look teams be able to challenge the stacked Warriors? Will it take time for the Cavs to mesh? What teams are going to surprise us with how much better they’ve gotten? We can’t wait to find out. Luckily, you don’t have to. Get prepped for the new season by listening to SiriusXM NBA Radio (Sirius Ch. 207, XM Ch. 86).
