Trying to figure out who is going to fill out your American League-only fantasy baseball rotation? Or who might make a solid fourth outfielder? Glenn Colton and Rick Wolf ran down a quartet of sleepers as you get set for your draft or auction:

Drew Hutchison, starting pitcher, Toronto Blue Jays (2014 stats: 11-13, 4.48 ERA, 184 strikeouts in 184 2/3 innings)

Says Colton: “If you look at the surface 4.48 ERA, you’re not gonna be in love with this guy. But the fielding-independent pitching was a lot lower, 3.9. He had a terrible strand rate, 67 percent, that’s gonna normalize. And he struck out almost a batter per inning in his first year basically back from Tommy John surgery. Which means second year post-TJ: Strikeout per inning, the peripheral stats are gonna level off, this is a guy who could strikeout 200 for little money.”

T.J. House, starting pitcher, Cleveland Indians (2014 stats: 5-3, 3.35 ERA, 80 strikeouts in 102 innings)

Says Colton: “He’s gonna cost you a dollar or two. So that’s a guy with a 60-plus percent groundball percentage. That’s a guy to definitely focus on.”

Says Wolf: “He’s gonna eventually win that [rotation] job. Salazar couldn’t do it last year; what makes you think he could do it this year?”

Jesse Hahn, starting pitcher, Oakland Athletics (2014 stats: 7-4, 3.07 ERA, 70 strikeouts in 73 1/3 innings)

Says Colton: “He goes from San Diego to Oakland, so no problem there with the ballpark. He was lights out last year for about a two-month period of time before he ran out of gas. It’s a great place for him to be pitching.”

Says Wolf: “He’s gonna win 11, 12, 13 games.”

Travis Snider, outfielder, Baltimore Orioles (2014 stats: .264 batting average, 13 home runs, 38 RBI, .776 OPS)

Says Wolf: “I don’t think they want to go with a platoon, and I think he’s gotta be the lead candidate to win that. And if he’s the everyday right fielder, you could get some really good numbers from him. … You could get 16, 17 homers and 65 or 70 RBI for your last outfield spot.”

Says Colton: “I think he could easily hit 20 home runs on that team, in that ballpark.”
