The long-anticipated shake-up in the White House Communications Department was enacted on Friday morning with the appointment of Anthony Scaramucci as the director.

“We’re citizen politicians or citizen public servants,” Scaramucci told Matt Boyle on SiriusXM Patriot during his first interview in his new role. “We’re not career politicians or establishment players that just want to sit in Washington and melt the system.”

Similar to Pres. Trump, Scaramucci comes to the White House from the business world.

“Like good business people, we’re going to deliver on these promises,” Scaramucci said.

“The wall is at the top of the list for the president.”
