Barbecues and beach days may be off the Memorial Day weekend itinerary for some, but SiriusXM has the best specials and songs to soundtrack the long weekend regardless of how you’re spending it. Take your pick from the list below (we recommend choosing more than one) and be sure to tune in (all times ET)!

Willie Nelson – From His Roadhouse, To Yours

Willie's RoadhouseWhile he just can’t wait to get on the road again, Willie Nelson is getting back to his disc jockey roots in the meantime as he hosts a one-hour Memorial Day weekend DJ special from his Pedernales Recording Studio in Spicewood, TX. Nelson’s hand-picked playlist features 10 of his favorite songs, ranging from Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, and Leon Russell to Patsy Cline’s iconic version of his composition “Crazy” and his own cover of a Kris Kristofferson classic. Hear Nelson on his exclusive channel, Willie’s Roadhouse (Ch. 59), on Monday, May 25 at 12pm and 10pm.

Ladies’ Night

Transition from Memorial Day into ladies’ night and escape into a laugh-out-loud special hosted by Loni Love. Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Radio (Ch. 96) will feature a parade of comediennes — including Wanda Sykes, Janelle James, and Mo’Nique — to round out the long weekend when it airs on Monday, May 25 at 7pm ET.

Cycle into Summer Playlist

For those with extra Memorial Day weekend energy to burn off thanks to all this time spent inside, SoulCycle Radio (Ch. 4) is heating things up with a tailored, welcome-to-summer playlist perfect for getting your sweat on. Tap it back as SoulCycle instructor Ariel plays some of his favorite summer jams to get you warmed up for the start of the new season. Feel the burn before the burgers when the special airs on Sunday, May 24 at 6pm ET.

Flavortown Weekend with Guy Fieri

Travel restrictions and social distancing are no match for this trip to Flavortown. This year, the mayor of Flavortown himself, Guy Fieri, is stepping away from the grill to serve up some of his favorite jams from the ’90s and 2000s on PopRocks (Ch. 17). Old School Indie Memorial Day Weekend

Few things signal holiday relaxation like a musical trip down indie memory lane (underneath the sycamore is more than just a location in this music universe). Bliss out as SiriusXMU (Ch. 35) goes back in time to play classics from Arcade Fire, Death Cab for Cutie, PJ Harvey, Pavement, Interpol, and many others from Friday, May 22 at 3pm until Monday, May 25 at 10pm.

Hair Nation Goes to 11

The winner will be able to visit our New York City or Washington, D.C., studios to record a one-hour guest DJ session that will be broadcast on SiriusXM Hair Nation (Ch. 39). Winner (and optional guest) must provide their own transportation to our New York City or D.C. studios at a mutually agreed-upon date and time to receive a studio tour to record the show. At-Home Guest DJ Memorial Day Weekend Takeover

“Friday I’m in Love” takes on added meaning this Friday with the start of 1st Wave’s (Ch. 33) Memorial Day weekend celebration. Hear Marky Ramone, Terri Nunn, and more of 1st Wave’s famous musician friends as they host at-home takeovers all MDW long and play your favorite new wave hits for relaxing and reminiscing. The special Guest DJ weekend kicks off on Saturday, May 23 at 9am and runs (so far away) until Tuesday, May 26 at 3am.

Bluegrass Junction (Ch. 62) is treating you to a virtual pick-nic in honor of the first holiday weekend of the summer.
