In honor of Bob Marley‘s 75th birthday, SiriusXM will feature highlights from a special performance by his son Ziggy Marley on Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong Radio channel all weekend long.
Tune in to Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong Radio throughout Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 2 to hear music from Ziggy Marley’s Bob Marley 75th Celebration (pt. 1) — a special, virtual performance from 8X GRAMMY Award-winning icon Ziggy Marley as part of ongoing Bob Marley birthday festivities, including the launching of Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong Radio, the release of his limited-edition Legend picture disc, and a partnership with One Tree Planted to combat deforestation by streaming Bob’s iconic music. This special performance pays homage to Bob Marley’s timeless catalog as Ziggy performs 11 of his father’s legendary songs in an intimate setting. The one-hour performance is currently streaming on Bob Marley’s official YouTube channel. The audio will be released as an e-album on July 31 and will be featured on the channel, as well as on Pandora here.
SiriusXM launched Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong Radio on July 15. The limited-edition channel features the music of Bob Marley and his band The Wailers and highlights studio and live performances, widely popular songs, and rare tracks.
