For many high schoolers, spring is normally the time of year when they’re taking standardized tests or visiting college campuses. But the coronavirus pandemic has pushed students around the country outside of their classrooms, forcing them to approach the college admissions process in a different way. To help navigate this unprecedented time in higher education, The Process on SiriusXM Stars (Ch. 109) will air a College Applications in the Time of Coronavirus special this Friday, April 10.

In this episode, The Process hosts Eric Furda, dean of admissions at the University of Pennsylvania, and Eileen Cunningham Feikens, dean of college counseling at the Dwight-Englewood School in New Jersey, will walk listeners through the steps students should be taking to ace their applications. As everything has recently gone virtual, topics will include tips for researching colleges, the Common Application, online events, virtual exams, and much more. Tune in as Furda and Cunningham Feikens suggest methods for students to stay on track of testing schedules, as well as use this time period to their advantage when it comes to writing essays and general application preparedness.

Listeners can have their questions answered in the special by tweeting at SiriusXM or leaving a message at 866-993-8267 in advance of the show.

Be sure to take notes on College Applications in the Time of Coronavirus when it premieres at 5pm on Friday, April 17, and airs again at 10am, 12noon, and 8pm on Saturday, April 18; and 10am and 2pm on Sunday, April 19 (all times ET).
