Duran Duran is one of the most enduring bands to come out of the 1980s. They’ve survived trends and the loss of key band members over the 30+ years of making music (we still miss you, Andy Taylor), but continue to make new and relevant music, including 2015’s Paper Gods, which featured the outstanding hit single, Pressure Off.

Though they’re always looking forward, this Wednesday on 1st Wave, Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor will spend the day looking back on their classic second album, Rio, which hit store shelves 35 years ago and featured a string of hits, including Hungry Like The Wolf, Save A Prayer and the title track.

Don’t miss the 35th Anniversary of Rio, all day Wednesday on SiriusXM 1st Wave (Ch. 33).
