Dion Lewis knows that after the Tennessee Titans’ season-opening loss at Miami, the path to improvement only gets more difficult.

That’s because the highly versatile running back and his Titans’ teammates know that they’ll be facing a solid defense when the Houston Texans visit Nashville.

‘Definitely going to have to match their physicality’

“They’re a great team,” Lewis told Jim Miller and Pat Kirwan on Movin’ The Chains. “They’ve got playmakers everywhere on every level of the field — D-line, linebackers, safeties, corners. They’re a very physical team, so we’re definitely going to have to be ready for that and match their physicality. And we’ve just got to be ready for their front.

“They’ve got J.J. Watt and (Jadeveon) Clowney. Those are two of the best pass-rushers in the league, so we’ve just got to make sure we help. It always takes all 11 to help with that. We’ve just got to hit our keys this week and we’ll be successful.”

Busy day vs. Dolphins

Lewis had a busy day against the Dolphins. He ran 16 times for a game-high 75 yards and a touchdown. He also caught five passes (on eight targets) for  35 yards.
