Two Midwestern cities starved for a World Series title meet in the Fall Classic starting Tuesday night on MLB Network Radio (Sirius 209, XM 89). If Cleveland wins the World Series they’ll be ending a title-drought that’s been going on since 1948. Of course, the Chicago Cubs haven’t even been to the World Series since 1945 and haven’t won the championship since 1908. But before we get to the champagne for one team (and more agony for the other), the games have to be played and the World Series has to be won. Here are our MLB Network Radio’s experts and analysts best guesses at which team will take the title and who will win WS MVP.

Our experts overwhelmingly believe that the Chicago Cub will end their 108-year-long drought and that Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo will take the MVP honors. Three dissenters believe that the Cleveland Indians will take the trophy. No matter who wins, this season’s World Series presents something historic. Let’s play ball, folks.
