Give his regards to Broadway.

Common’s got three Grammys and an Oscar (for Glory, 2015’s Best Original Song), meaning the multi-talented performer is half way to an EGOT, the holy grail of show business.

And Bevy Smith wants her friend to break a leg in the most popular musical out there: Hamilton.

“I mean, you rap, you dance, you act,” Smith said Tuesday on Bevelations.

“My singing, I gotta get my singing up a little bit,” he replied, laughing.

“No, but they rap!” insisted Smith, 49.

Common has already seen the hit hip-hopera three times and knows creator/star Lin-Manuel Miranda.

“I mean, that’s an amazing play. I would love to connect with that,” the 44-year-old said. “Lin-Manuel is somebody I worked with before. Super talented dude, we had freestyle sessions and everything.”

Listen to the clip below to hear Smith and Common discuss the importance of the show’s diverse cast:

Bevelations airs Tuesday at 5 pm ET on SiriusXM Radio Andy (Ch. 102).
