T.Y. Hilton has been highly productive through most of his five seasons as a wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts.

The one statistical hurdle he has yet to clear, however, is catching 10 or more touchdown passes. So far, the most he has had in a season is seven, as rookie in 2012 and in 2014.

‘That’s one thing I want to accomplish, get in the end zone more’

“For me, I want to get double-digit touchdowns,” Hilton told Jeff Rickard and Solomon Wilcots during the SiriusXM NFL Radio training camp tour stop at Colts camp. “For me, that’s one thing I want to accomplish, get in the end zone more, hitting that double-digit touchdowns.”

“And then, just get back to the playoffs where we left off at. And at the end of the day we just got to win. That’s it.”

Tolzien and Morris ‘are confident guys, pros, they’ve been here’

To boost his TD-reception total, Hilton might very well need to do so, at least at the beginning of the season, without quarterback Andrew Luck, who is still recovering from offseason shoulder surgery. Hilton remains confident that one of the backups, Scott Tolzien or Stephen Morris, will hold up well as temporary replacements.

“We had all OTAs, all minicamp and right now in training camp to work with them,” Hilton said. “The main thing is, just let them know, ‘We got your back.’ They’re confident guys, pros, they’ve been here, just studying, studying, studying. At the end of the day, we trust those guys, they’re professionals. We love what we’re seeing right now.”
