After an unbelievable first weekend of explosive performances, special guests and new music, Coachella Weekend 2 had a lot to live up to — and it didn’t disappoint. Here’s everything you need to know that happened with your favorite SiriusXM Hits 1 artists.

Harry Styles brought out his BFF Lizzo

Earlier last week, Lizzo had teased a possible appearance in Harry Styles‘ set during an interview with Andy Cohen. She and Styles are no strangers to sharing a stage — back in 2020, they performed “Juice” together as part of SiriusXM & Pandora’s Opening Drive Super Concert Series in Miami Beach. Following his surprise performance with Shania Twain last weekend, this time Styles did indeed bring out Lizzo (and a lot of big, feathery coats). She joined him for a rendition of his oft-covered One Direction song, “What Makes You Beautiful,” as well as Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive.”

Styles “is a treasure, gods gift to rock n roll, the light that comes from him is real and infinite,” Lizzo wrote in an Instagram caption. “He makes being on stage in front of hundreds n thousands easy, cus [sic] it’s w a friend.”

Billie Eilish sang “Misery Business” with Hayley Williams

It’s been four years since Hayley Williams‘ group Paramore decided to stop singing their 2007 hit “Misery Business” on tour due to its perceived anti-feminist message. However, when Williams’ took the stage with Billie Eilish during her Weekend 2 set, the two did an acoustic take on the song that’ll be remembered for a long time.

Believe it or not, despite a lengthy and successful career, this was Williams’ first and only Coachella performance. Sitting atop simple stools and backed by two guitar players (one of which was FINNEAS), Eilish took the lower harmony and the two women delivered a powerhouse rendition of such a nostalgic song.

“Absolutely what on earth could be cooler than that?” Eilish asked the audience after they finished. “I’m dead serious.”

Conan Gray made fashion history on stage

Dressed in head-to-toe, custom-made magenta Valentino, Conan Gray‘s Coachella set will be remembered for both the music and the fashion. Even Vogue said the look “cemented Gray as one of the weekend’s best-dressed performers.” This was the 23-year-old’s first time performing at the festival, hot off the release of his new single “Memories” with his album Superache due out June 24.

The Weeknd closed out the weekend

To finish out Coachella 2022 in a big way, Sunday night’s headliners — house music trio Swedish House Mafia — passed the mic over to The Weeknd following their own hour-long set. Songs like “I Can’t Feel My Face,” “The Hills,” and “Starboy,” kept the undoubtedly weary crowd hyped until Coachella’s curtain officially closed. Swedish House Mafia then rejoined him on stage to close down the festival together with “Moth to a Flame.”

If that’s not enough, gear up for yet another Goldenvoice-fueled weekend in the desert as The Highway (Ch. 56) and Outlaw Country (Ch. 60) stream live coverage of and exclusive interviews from Stagecoach Festival from April 29 through May 1.
