Though this past season of The Bachelor may have just ended right as everyone geared up to spend extra quality time on the couch, there’s been no shortage of entertaining chatter in the time since that fateful finale. SiriusXM Stars (Ch. 109) and Radio Andy (Ch. 102) have been keeping a finger on the pulse of all things Bachelor Nation to ensure the community doesn’t miss a minute.

On Monday, seasoned franchise host Chris Harrison connected with Andy Cohen to shed some light on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette — which, for the first time ever, is forgoing tradition of choosing a contestant from the prior Bachelor season and instead following the journey of Clare Crawley from Season 18. After a few days of principal shooting and prep for the first rose ceremony, filming is now on an indefinite hiatus as the television and film industries continue to feel the effects of coronavirus. Hear details in the full conversation between Harrison and Cohen On Demand below.

Also, in a somewhat shocking turn of events (well, at least shocking in terms of the Bachelor Nation Cinematic Universe), headlines have confirmed that the most recent Bachelor, Peter Weber, and his finale fiancée, Madison Prewett — who Weber chose after breaking things off with his initial final-rose-recipient, Hannah Ann Sluss — have already called things off since the season’s March 10 ending. While it may feel reminiscent of the show’s Season 22 finale in which Arie Luyendyk, Jr. ended his engagement with Becca Kufrin (who went on to star in The Bachelorette‘s following season, naturally) in favor of his now-wife Lauren Burnham, the outcome obviously differs. However, during a recap with Jess Cagle and Julia Cunningham, Harrison shared his own feelings about the couple’s fate, as well as another noteworthy figure in the Bachelor Nation zeitgeist — Barbara Weber (who, as viewers know, vocally disapproved of her son and Prewett’s relationship). Hear The Jess Cagle Show interview here, as well as Cunningham’s season finale recap with ABC Studios’ VP of Alternative Series Robert Mills here.

Luckily, this news isn’t all about heartbreak. Comedian and admitted Bachelor in Paradise lover Paul Scheer stopped by The Jess Cagle Show last week to dish on how starring in a Bachelor franchise parody show, Burning Love, resulted in his invite to a “magical” BIP wedding. Catch the story On Demand below.
