Twenty-five years ago, Howard Stern Show producer Gary Dell’Abate incorrectly called cartoon character Baba Looey by the name Baba Booey. Since that day, the legendary Baba Booey has blown up and weaved its way into sports and pop culture. There have been songs, it’s been referenced in TV shows, and yelled on golf courses across the globe.

To celebrate 25 amazing years of Baba Booey, Howard Stern will be paying tribute with specials airing this weekend on Howard 100 and Howard 101. The specials will  feature the history of the name, The Howard Stern Show’s best Baba Booey moments, and some of the greatest references, songs, and parodies over the past two and half decades, some of which you can check out below.

You can hear the best Baba Booey moments on demand on the SiriusXM app. Then, on Labor Day, we’re turning Howard 100 into Booey 100. Nothing but Baba Booey songs, all day long, including SiriusXM Metal ambassador Jose Mangin (Liquid Metal/Octane) who is hosting a block of the best “BabaBooey” parody songs performed in the key of HEAVY METAL!  You’ll hear fan favorites such as For Whom The Booey Tolls, Death Metal Booey, Iron Man Booey and more!

Check out the schedule below to find out when all the SiriusXM Music hosts will be tipping their hats to the one and only Baba Booey, including the “Top Noine,” hosted by “Dead Casey Kasem” and featuring the Howard Stern Show staff’s choices for the nine best Baba Booey songs!
