There are undoubtedly several NFL teams that would do just about anything to bring Bill Cowher on board as a head coach. But alas, the former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach has no interest (right now) in returning to the NFL sidelines.

“It was great this year to be on the sidelines for some of the Thursday games,” Cowher said last week on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “It does get your blood going, but no, I’m in a really good place. I’m really enjoying my job at CBS, I’m enjoying all the involvement with that, and the Thursday football. So it’s good, I’m in a good place. So no, you’re not gonna see me on the sidelines. I enjoyed it, you miss it, but not enough to get back.”

In 15 years as the Steelers’ coach, Cowher finished with a 149-90-1 record and won Super Bowl XL.
