The song is also influenced by Mr. 305’s Cuban heritage, as Calle Ocho is a street in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood.
“Fireball”
Featuring vocals from John Ryan, no Pitbull playlist would be complete without this 2014 samba-inspired anthem. Appearing in everything from The Emoji Movie to the opening of Miss Universe 2020, “Fireball” is instantly recognizable and always sets the dance floor alight!
“Timber”
Combining a catchy dance-pop beat with folktronica country vibes makes for a match made in heaven! This 2013 hit features vocals from Kesha, who previously featured Pitbull on the official remix of her 2009 song “Tik Tok.” The song was a huge success, proving that Mr. Worldwide and Kesha make an amazing duo!
“Hotel Room Service”
This song may not have many words, but with a beat like this, they’re not needed! “Hotel Room Service” has been filling dance floors since 2009, as well as celebrating artists such as The Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z with its inclusion of their lyrics.
“Give Me Everything”
Throw it back to 2011, and you’ll undoubtedly remember Pitbull’s first US number one. Featuring Ne-Yo, Nayer, and Dutch DJ Afrojack, this absolute banger cemented Mr. Worldwide’s icon status. After all, who can forget the iconic “Grab somebody sexy, tell ’em hey”?
