When it comes to facing the New England Patriots Sunday, Buffalo Bills rookie cornerback has only one thing on his mind.

An opportunity to enhance the Buffalo Bills’ chances of making the playoffs.

‘Going in there and winning would be the best revenge ever’

Getting revenge on Rob Gronkowski for the hit the Patriots tight end delivered to the back of White’s head while White was face-down after intercepting a pass in the Pats’ 23-3 victory against the Bills on Dec. 3? That isn’t on White’s to-do list.

“I’m not a guy that’s going to do a cheap shot after the whistle or nothing,” White told Bruce Murray and Brady Quinn on the SiriusXM Blitz. “I’m going to play the game the way it’s supposed to played and respect the game. Going in there and winning would be the best revenge ever.”

‘We’ve got to try to find a way to try to limit his big plays’

It will be an enormous challenge. Gronkowski, who was suspended for one game for his hit on White, had nine catches for 147 yards against the Bills. Then, he returned from the suspension to have nine receptions for 168 yards and a two-point conversion in a 27-23 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday.

“We’ve got a tough test ahead of us this Sunday,” White said. “We’ve got to try to find a way to try to limit his big plays. It’s going to be tough, but we’re going to try to find a way to get it done.

‘If we come away with plus-two (turnover differential) in this game, our chances to win our very high’

“I feel like we have a great chance. The biggest thing is for our team is going to start with our defense and us being able to create takeaways. If we come away with plus-two (turnover differential) in this game, our chances to win our very high.”
