According to Aerosmith, after 50 years, 10 world tours, and playing for over 100 million fans, the band is saying “peace out.”

Their farewell tour will include 40 stops from September through January, including a New Year’s Eve show in their hometown of Boston, featuring Joe Perry, Steven Tyler, Tom Hamilton, Brad Whitford, and John Douglas (sitting in on drums for Joey Kramer). They’ll be joined by special guest The Black Crowes.

The band members — all of which are in their 70s — said they wanted to hit the road one last time while they’re all still healthy enough to do so. Aerosmith originally formed in 1970 and now have four GRAMMY Awards and are Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees.

“We’re opening up Pandora’s Box one last time to present our fans with the Peace Out tour,” Tyler said in a statement to The Associated Press.  “Be there or beware as we bring all the toys out of the attic. Get ready.”

Aerosmith have released 15 studio albums, two EPs, eight live albums, and 16 compilation albums. They hold the record for the most total certifications by an American group.
