Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum is passing the baton to Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon.

As McCollum sets off on his sophomore NBA campaign, Gordon, the fourth overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, will host the second season of SiriusXM NBA Radio’s Year One. This season’s debut episode airs Thursday at 6 pm ET on XM channel 86 and Sirius channel 207.

Listeners to McCollum’s show last year will remember that Year One chronicles an NBA rookie’s first season in the league; Gordon, like McCollum, will talk about the transition from college to the pros, adjusting to a new city and to new teammates, and what it’s like to be on the road in the NBA.

“Hosting my own SiriusXM show is an honor and something that makes my first NBA season even more special.” Gordon said. “This year will be full of a lot of firsts and I can’t wait to give the fans a behind-the-scenes look at my new world both on and off the court. I have some pretty high goals set for myself and my team this year and I’m excited to take the listeners along for the ride.”

Gordon is the reigning Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, winning the award after leading the Arizona Wildcats to the regional finals of the NCAA Tournament and a 33-5 record. Gordon, who was also named First-Team All-Pac 12, averaged 12.4 points, eight rebounds and two assists per game in his lone college season.
