The 2015-2016 NBA season is almost here, and to get ready for all the action the new season will bring, SiriusXM NBA Radio is visiting the training camps of 11 teams, bringing fans updates, interviews and insights from some of the best in the game. NBA Radio recently stopped by the camp of the Golden State Warriors, who are looking to repeat as NBA Champions this season.

Andrew Bogut disagrees with those who criticizes the Warriors’ championship path.

“It’s laughable, teams that haven’t won a championship commenting on our championship,” Bogut said. “We use that, like I said, as motivation going into the year. We know it’s going to a be a playoff atmosphere in our gym and on the road every game that we play. But at the same time you gotta sit back and laugh at some of these boneheads.”

Klay Thompson wants to win more championships than his father Mychal Thompson, who won two with the Los Angeles Lakers.

“I’m 50 percent on my way to catching him, and the beautiful thing is I feel like my team is setup for the next four or five years to really make a big impact and knock on that door,” Thompson said. “I really wanna have the bragging rights in the family with the most rings.”

General manager Bob Myers said Steve Kerr’s role as head coach will be difficult to fill during his leave of absence due to back issues.

Luke Walton spoke about filling in as head coach for Kerr.

“I was honest with the guys,” Walton said. “I told them before practice that, ‘Look, it’s now my job, it’s my responsibility to make sure that we’re doing things right. So if I have to yell, or I have to get upset because I don’t see something going right – If I don’t speak up then I’m only cheating you guys.’ And they responded great to that.”
