Good morning! A lot happens in sports, even when you’re not watching, so here are the top headlines and moments from yesterday, in case you missed anything while you were refreshing YouTube for the new Suicide Squad trailer.

Gronk, Broncos Twitter beef

Before Sunday’s AFC Championship game between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots, the psychological battle has made its way to social media. During an interview on SportsCenter, Denver cornerback Chris Harris commented on the best way to defend star Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, saying, “You gotta hit him low, man. Hit him in his knees. That’s the best chance you got of hitting him.” Gronk didn’t take that comment kindly and took to Twitter to respond.

Shots fired! The Broncos Twitter account retweeted the post then later tweeted a video breaking down how to defend the All-Pro tight end. Gronkowski tore his ACL and MCL in 2013 on a hit to his right knee from current Broncos safety T.J. Ward, who played for Cleveland back then. When New England and Denver met in November Gronkowski hurt his knee again, this time on a hit from Darian Stewart, but the injury wasn’t significant and he only missed one game.

Broncos linebacker Antonio Smith took a shot at Tom Brady, calling the Patriots quarterback a “crybaby.” “Every time he gets sacked,” Smith told reporters according to the Colorado Springs Gazette. “He looks at the ref like, ‘You see him sack me? Was that supposed to happen? He did it a little hard. Please throw a 15-yard penalty on him. Get him fined.'”

Unfortunately, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have not traded blows on Facebook… Yet.

Two top-five teams go down

The parity in college basketball has made this season incredibly exciting so far. Hide ya coaches, hide ya players, because no ranking is safe! Two top-five teams went down on Tuesday, both losing to unranked teams.

No. 3 Kansas fell on the road to Oklahoma State, 86-67. Freshman Jawun Evans led with 22 points, eight assists and six rebounds. No. 5 Xavier lost to Georgetown, 81-72, thanks to Tre Campbell’s career-high 21 points.

The No. 1 team in the nation, Oklahoma, already lost earlier this week. There’s no clear-cut dominant team this season, so by the time the NCAA Tournament comes around no team will be safe, no matter the seedings, the regions, or anything. It will be anyone’s tournament to win.

Westbrook hates rims

Our must-see moment comes from Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook with a couple filthy dunks in the Thunder’s 110-104 win over the Denver Nuggets. The ferocity in which Westbrook attacks the rim is uncanny, as if he’s mad at the rim for making “Yo momma” jokes or something. Watch him destroy the rim like it stole something in these nasty dunks:

Bulls celebrate 50th anniversary

The Chicago Bulls will be celebrating their 50th anniversary tonight at the United Center against the Golden State Warriors. The franchise is best known for its dominance in the 1990s when the great Michael Jordan led two separate three-peats for the NBA Championship.

Additionally, check out this interesting story on Dean Wessel, the man who designed the Bulls logo as a favor to the team’s founder Dick Klein and never received any money for it.

Look cool every morning. Find out what you missed in the sports world while you were sleeping, and impress your friends and co-workers. We won’t tell them you were actually watching Marvel’s Agent Carter.
