Good morning! A lot happens in sports, even when you’re busy doing other non-sports-y stuff. So here are the top headlines and moments from yesterday, in case you missed anything while you were watching Modern Family.

A moment between legends

Cleveland is the latest city to give Kobe Bryant a legend’s sendoff as the Cavaliers beat the Lakers, 120-111. Kobe and LeBron James, who will share the floor for the final time on March 10 when the Cavs visit Los Angeles, shared a moment of respect in the waning moments of the game:

James poured in 29 points with 11 assists while Bryant had 17 points and six rebounds. Both were outshined by Kyrie Irving, who dropped a game-high 35 points. Irving is finally heating up and playing like he can after coming back from a fractured kneecap he sustained in last year’s Finals.

Turmoil in Phoenix

Things are not going well in Phoenix. In the Suns’ 112-104 loss to the Warriors, Markief Morris and Archie Goodwin got into a shoving match on the Phoenix bench during a timeout.

This comes a little over a week after the Suns fired head coach Jeff Hornacek. Phoenix has now lost nine straight games and 24 out of their last 26 in a disappointing season where the team was expected to compete for a playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Egg on your face

Our must-see moment comes from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as Peyton Manning and Magic Johnson were the special guests. Somehow, Fallon convinced both sports legends to play a game of “Egg Russian Roulette” and smash eggs on their heads. Check the hilarious clip that includes an incredibly awkward handshake at the end:
