Here at SiriusXM, we love our musicians! From Mumford & Sons’ first-ever visit, to cruisin’ along with the guys of Florida Georgia Line, these past four Decembers have been nothing but a super-sized music fest. Below are some of our favorite #throwbackthursday highlights:

Mumford & Sons perform ‘Sister’ on SiriusXM’s The Spectrum (2010)

Before getting insanely famous for their hit I Will Wait, British indie band Mumford & Sons broke through the Western London folk scene with their first LP Sigh No More, the album peaking at number one in countries like New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. Little did they know that they would gain popularity so quickly: In less than a year in America, Mumford & Sons received two Grammys nominations (Best New Artist and Best Rock Song). Lucky for us, in the midst of award season the band stopped by for the first of many SiriusXM visits, performing Sister from their second album Babel exclusively for The Spectrum.

Lana Del Rey performs ‘Video Games’ on SiriusXM U (2011)

New York City indie singer Lana del Rey released her commercially successful single Video Games back in 2011, shortly after the songstress performed the single for an intimate audience of SiriusXM U listeners. Her album Born To Die later received recognition as the fifth best-selling album of 2012, with songs like Blue Jeans and Summertime Sadness dominating the Billboard Charts. Just three days ago, Del Rey announced that she’ll be touring with Courtney Love during the summer 2015. There’s no stopping rock’s chicest diva!

One Direction perform ‘Little Things’ on SiriusXM’s Artist Confidential ( 2012)

Did you know that One Direction’s love song Little Things was actually written by friends Ed Sheeran and Fiona Bevin when they were 17? The band worked extensively with Sheeran throughout the making of their sophomore album Take Me Home back in 2012. After extreme interest in the pop-folk song, Little Things ultimately became the second single off One Direction’s album. Try not to pass out as Niall, Liam, Louis, Zayn, and Harry sing how much they love your little things on SiriusXM’s Artist Confidential!

Florida Georgia Line perform ‘Cruise’ on SiriusXM’s The Highway (2013)

Fresh, country-pop duo Florida Georgia Line have already worked with some of the biggest names in Country music: rubbing elbows with Rodney Atkins, Justin Moore, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, and many more. The guys took time off their busy schedules and last December, performed their hit Cruise for SiriusXM’s The Highway. Don’t they just make you want to roll your windows down and cruiseee all day?
