Ahead of the 2018 midterm elections, SiriusXM’s Urban View channel is working to mobilize the youth vote, literally. With a decked out bus and system to help citizens to register, the Urban View Vote initiative started hitting the streets in March across multiple states.

During a recent event at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Ga., SiriusXM hosts Karen Hunter, Joe Madison and Sway Calloway spoke to a group of nearly 200 students and individuals about the importance of using their votes to make their voices heard.

“Let’s go out and be proactive in our communities,” Calloway said. “Let’s take over our communities. Let’s govern our own communities.”

Listeners throughout America can tune to SiriusXM’s Urban View (Ch. 126) to hear highlights from each stop on the tour and for announcements about additional initiatives, town halls, and ways to get involved in the Urban View Vote campaign throughout this midterm election year.
