The SiriusXM NFL Radio Training Camp Tour pushed on forward, this time with stops in the NFC East, and here is what they learned:

Dallas Cowboys

Cowboys Vice President Stephen Jones feels it is his and general manager Jerry Jones’ responsibilities to make sure running back Darren McFadden is healthy.

“We want to make sure he’s ready to go when he hits that football field,” Jones said. “It’s our job, as Jerry being the general manager, my job as a player personnel guy, that when we do put that player out there that he’s ready to go, and we do do feel good about our situation right now.”

Head coach Jason Garrett is confident in his team’s ability to run the ball without DeMarco Murray.

“DeMarco Murray was a hell of a football player for the Dallas Cowboys,” Garrett said. “He had a better opportunity in Philadelphia and took advantage of it. We feel good about Joseph Randle, we feel good about Lance Dunbar, we’re excited to see Darren McFadden. Those guys have been good players in this league in the roles that they’ve had.”

New York Giants

Eli Manning is yearning to get his team back to the postseason for the first time in four seasons.

“Playoff football is fun, when you know hey, there’s only a few teams practicing right now, there’s only a few teams going to be playing this weekend,” said Manning. “It’s that do or die situation. You want to get back to that scenario, you want to get back to that championship caliber football team.”

Coach Tom Coughlin has a lot of faith in Manning for the coming season.

“He’s going to end up playing his best football here from this point forward, there’s no doubt in my mind,” said Coughlin. “He’s absolutely focused, he knows that he wants to accomplish.”

Washington Redskins

Robert Griffin III has been working hard all of season, and all he wants to do is win.

“My job is to come out here and do what they ask me to do,” Griffin said. “We want to win to win games, and that’s the only stat that matters. No the time of possession, not any of that other stuff.”

General manager Scot McCloughan believes the organization made a lot of good moves to improve the football team for 2015 and beyond.

“We’re not going to be the best team out there this year,” McCloughan said. “We’ve got a ways to go, but we’re going the right direction”

Philadelphia Eagles

Coach Chip Kelly feels that his team will find a lot of success with Sam Bradford at quarterback.

“I think he’s special,” Kelly said. “To win in this league you need to have a special guy pulling the trigger. And when you look at the history of the league and study it, almost every Super Bowl team you kind of look ‘well, they had a pretty good quarterback.'”

Sam Bradford is a fan of his new coach.

“It’s amazing when you talk to him just how smart he is,” Bradford said. “There’s not many people, if anyone else, doing what we’re doing as far as running the style of offense that we’re running. At first when you look at it, when I first got here I was kind of like ‘What’s going on? What are they doing?’ But then you sit down and you learn why, and when he explains you’re like ‘That makes a lot of sense.’ And when you look at from the way he looks at it, I think it kind of changes the game.”
