The 2013 SiriusXM NFL Radio Training Camp Tour kicked off Wednesday in Oxnard, Calif., with the Dallas Cowboys. Alex Marvez and Gil Brandt hosted the tour’s first show, and sat down with Dallas signal-caller Tony Romo.

Romo, who quarterbacked the Cowboys to an 8-8 record last year, finished the 2012 season with 4,903 passing yards, 28 touchdowns and a league-high 19 interceptions. He spoke with Marvez and Brandt about one of his go-to targets, fourth-year pro Dez Bryant.

“He’s just continually gotten better every year he’s been in the NFL,” Romo said. “His approach, in a really good way, is like a kid that loves the game. He has that innocence about him. I think there is no limit to how good he can be. As he continues to get better with his knowledge of the game, it’s just gonna keep getting better and better.”

Romo also told Marvez and Brandt that this year’s roster comprises the most complete team he’s been on, and that the quarterback feels Dallas will play at a high level for the next three to five years.

The NFL Radio Training Camp Tour continues Saturday, July 27, as Marvez and Brandt head to San Diego, Calif., for Chargers camp. For full schedule and replay information, visit the SiriusXM NFL Radio channel page.
