Two-Hour Special Airing Saturday 12/13 at 7 pm ET on SiriusXM Patriot, Ch. 125

December 1944: In one last, desperate act of war, the Germans attempted to reach the city of Antwerp and split the Allied Forces. In honor of the 70th anniversary of the legendary Battle of the Bulge, SiriusXM Patriot‘s David Webb will discuss this event and how understanding the past is paramount to creating a successful future.

“Our history, who we are as a nation, and what comes from that history today and in the future matters. It should matter. It needs to be told accurately,” Webb said.

Join Webb as he travels to the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, explores the new Battle of the Bulge exhibit, and speaks with veterans, historians, and survivors.

“People come away from this who are younger, in their 20s, 30s, or even 40s, and they say ‘I had no idea. I had no idea,'” Dr. Nick Mueller, the museum’s President and CEO, said. “We have to pass the torch on to the next generations, and we can’t do that unless we understand this story and the price and the blood that we shed to save our freedom and preserve our democracy.”
