The 35 million reasons Evander Holyfield isn’t angry at Tyson for ear bite

You would think former Heavyweight Champion Evander Holyfield might be a little upset at Mike Tyson for biting his ear during their infamous fight in 1997. If nothing else, at least for a short period after the match, right? But Holyfield spoke about the bite on Mad Dog Sports Radio’s Morning Men and revealed that, even though the bite forced him to go to the hospital, he wasn’t too shaken up about it.

“By the time I got to the hospital, I was calm and cool because I realized that I just made $35 million,” Holyfield said.

Holyfield was then asked who he would rather leave alone with his girlfriend and children: Mike Tyson or Floyd Mayweather?

“Neither one,” he said. “I don’t know either one of them that much to say anything bad.”
