Tennis star Maria Sharapova is back following a 15-month suspension for doping, and though she still has a host of critics, she’s not paying them much attention.

During her appearance on Mad Dog Sports Radio’s Schein on Sports, Sharapova addressed criticism launched at her schedule during the U.S. Open. That playful back-and-forth between Adam Schein and Sharapova as he asks the question leads to confident proclamations from the five-time Grand Slam winner.

“As I said, I love this sport and I can play anywhere. If you want me to play on the back end court, I’ll be fine,” Sharapova said. “I also know that the final is on center court and that’s where I want to be.”

Tune into Schein on Sports on Mad Dog Sports Radio (Ch. 82) Monday through Friday, 10 am-1 pm ET, for the best sports talk anywhere.
