Dean Smith was a two-time NCAA champion head coach at UNC, won a gold medal with the U.S. men’s national team and his legendary career, which spanned four decades, earned him a spot in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Smith died this weekend at the age of 83.

Former players, coaches and colleagues of Smith joined SiriusXM Sports since his passing. Among them, former players Charlie Scott, Rick Fox, Jerry StackhouseMatt Doherty and prominent media members John Feinstein and Dick Vitale.
