In Week 4, 84 hosts made picks in the SiriusXM Pigskin Pick’em game. Eighty-four of those hosts picked the Indianapolis Colts to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars. And since the Jacksonville Jaguars are the Jacksonville Jaguars, wll 84 hosts were correct.

On the flip side, 80 SiriusXM hosts picked the Baltimore Ravens to beat the Buffalo Bills. But Joe Flacco did his best Mark Sanchez impression, throwing five interceptions against the Buffalo secondary, and the defending Super Bowl champs fell to 2-2 with a 23-20 road loss, handing 95.2 percent of the hosts a surprising ‘L.’

One host who did guess Buffalo would hold home field against Baltimore? Pete Pistone of SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, who rode a 10-5 week into a three-way tie for first with OutQ’s Doria Biddle and SiriusXM NFL Radio’s Ross Tucker.

Jamie Kaler (Blue Collar Radio) had the best week among hosts, going 12-3. The only games he missed: the Ravens loss, Cleveland’s surprise win over Cincinnati, and the Vikings’ victory over Pittsburgh in London.

The top five through Week 4:

  1. Doria Biddle (45-18)
  2. Pete Pistone (45-18)
  3. Ross Tucker (45-18)
  4. Buzz Brainard (44-19)
  5. The Agenda (44-19)

Other notable SiriusXM hosts after Week 4:

MLB Network Radio’s Jim Duquette correctly predicted 11 of the 15 games, improving to 41-22, just four games back of first.

Busted Open Radio’s Doug Mortman and Hall of Fame quarterback Fran Tarkenton made identical picks, each going 11-5 in Week 4, and both are now 40-23 heading into Week 5.

Evan Cohen of Mad Dog Sports Radio struggled early, just 4-5 heading into Sunday’s 4 pm ET games, but finished up by correctly guessing the last six games of the weekend to move to 39-24 overall.

Chris “Mad Dog” Russo, Mike Babchik and Jose Mangin combined for a lowly 17-28. All three hosts are at least 12 games back of first.

(Perhaps more embarrassingly, Russo, Babchik and Mangin are also behind me. Not by much, though: I went 8-7 in Week 4, and am now 34-29 overall.)
