NBA Radio’s Sam Mitchell made plenty of big shots during his playing days, but the former hoopster and NBA head coach surely relished the opportunity to take it to two of the Brooklyn Nets’ youngest stars: Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Caris LeVert at the NBA Store recently. Mitchell and NBA Radio’s Justin Termine were at the NBA Store on Fifth Avenue hosting an episode of NBA Today. Watch in the video above as LeVert and RHJ have a friendly game of Pop-A-Shot before Sam Mitchell shows up to show the youngsters how it was done back in the day.

Meanwhile before the show, Justin Termine gave the NBA fans a preview of familiar faces in new places this NBA season by walking through which players were wearing new jerseys.

Termine, in his inimitable fashion, breaks down the impact of Joel Embiid for the 76ers, what Russell Westbrook means for the Thunder now that Kevin Durant has moved to Golden State, Anthony Davis’ incredible start to the season and more. While Termine, Mitchell and the rest of the NBA Radio gang were only in the NBA Store for a limited time, you can, as always, catch every NBA game and all of the analysis and opinions on NBA Radio (XM 86/Sirius 207).
