Indianapolis Colts safety Sergio Brown, whose Ric Flair-inspired post-game celebration following Sunday’s win against the Cincinnati Bengals took the world by storm, called into The Opening Drive on SiriusXM NFL Radio earlier this week. Also on the phone, unbeknownst to Brown? The Nature Boy himself.

“Oh my God, this is great!” Brown said when he learned Flair was on the line. “Woo!”

“I thought it was phenomenal, Flair said of the impressions. “He’s almost as good as I am.”

“Thanks for being the Nature Boy, man,” Brown responded. “I couldn’t be me without you being you.”

Brown told Bob Papa and Amani Toomer that he is a Flair fan – “Everybody got a little Rick Flair in them somewhere” – and that the Colts started impersonating Nature Boy in training camp.

“Sometimes, I think I’m Ric Flair for at least 30 minutes out of the day,” Brown said. “So some of the guys started calling me up [after the win], and I did my little Ric Flair chant.”
