“I mean, she seems bats*** crazy.”

Jenny McCarthy said what most Real Housewives of Orange County fans’ have been thinking about this season’s divisive newbie, Kelly Dodd. Dodd’s penchant for cursing led fellow housewife Heather Dubrow to storm sobbing out of a dinner party.

“So perfect for the show, right?” Dubrow quipped, laughing, Thursday on The Jenny McCarthy Show. “Clearly, if the ratings are any indication, she’s awesome. We’re having our biggest season ever. I think it’s interesting to throw a different dynamic into the group.”

Dubrow added that the two grew closer after the events of Monday’s episode, when the ladies crashed their dune buggy.

“A near-death experience can really bring people together, so at this point in the season, what I will say is, I was probably of the same mind as you, and I’m giving her a restart after this accident,” she explained. “Because when you see someone with their kid, you see someone with that part of their life, it really humanizes someone. So I appreciate that about her, and she was very, very nice to my son.”

But don’t count out any further drama: “If you think that’s happened so far is insane, this is like a train that has left the station and is not stopping, and the friendships all completely shift like two more times,” Dubrow promised.

Dubrow was joined by her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, to discuss their new book, Dr. and Mrs. Guinea Pig Present the Only Guide You’ll Ever Need to the Best Anti-Aging Treatments. The plastic surgery has appeared on RHOC and stars in E!’s Botched. He originally encouraged his wife to join a reality TV cast, but joked on The Jenny McCarthy show about why she should quit after this season of RHOC.

The Jenny McCarthy Show airs weekdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET on SiriusXM Stars (Ch. 109).
