Pete Wentz is a tough roomie: ‘On a scale of 0 to Larry David, I would put myself on like a 9’

Being roomies with Pete Wentz sounds like it would be swell, no?

Consider this: He is Fall Out Boy’s bassist, so Sunday dinners and house parties with Patrick Stump, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley would have to be a regular occurrence. As he recently revealed in his Hits 1 Twitter Takeover, Wentz plays piano, mandolin and “a bit” of guitar, so you know cleaning day will always have the perfect soundtrack. (Spontaneous FOB performance sessions? Yes please.) Of course, you would get the privilege of those “roomies only” totally uncensored late night chats. Also, he is a father of two baby boys with kooky names (Bronx and Saint Lazslo) – that’s way cooler than the smelly goldfish your college roommate had.

However, Wentz recently told the King of All Media that he is actually pretty difficult to live with, and Wentz gives his current girlfriend Meagan Camper major props.

Wentz stopped by Monday on Howard to discuss FOB’s sixth album, American Beauty/American Psycho, which comes out today. This didn’t stop Howard from cutting to the chase (as per usual):

“No offense to your ex-wife [Ashlee Simpson], but this chick you’re dating now is major f-cking hot. This is unbelievable, right? This is a model,” Howard said. “Supermodel?”

“She’s a supermodel to me,” Wentz said. “She is a person that puts up with my madness. I think I’m pretty difficult. On a scale of zero to Larry David, I would put myself on like a nine.”
