NBA Hall of Famer and current Charlotte Bobcats associate head coach Patrick Ewing was a guest on Mad Dog Radio’s Schein on Sports Thursday. Ewing weighed in on the Michael Jordan vs. LeBron James debate, and offered a prediction on Thursday night’s Game 7 between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs.

Ewing, whose Knicks battled with Jordan’s Bulls throughout the 1990s, said that there’s “no comparison” between No. 23 and The Artist Formerly Known As No. 23.

“Michael Jordan: A stone assassin. A killer. He’s going to step on your throat, he’s going to get the job done by any means necessary,” Ewing said. “LeBron, you know, he’s a great teammate. I would love to play with him because he’s going to give me the ball. He’s a facilitator.

“But Michael, he’s going to take the game over from the start to the finish.”

Ewing also told Adam Schein that the last game of the Finals is a coin flip, but that he expects the Heat to win.

Listen to Schein on Sports weekdays at 10 am on SiriusXM channel 86.
