Ozzy Osbourne has spent much of the last 50 years on the road, both with Black Sabbath and as a solo artist. This spring, he embarks on his final trek around the globe, which he dubbed the No More Tours 2 tour — a play on his 1992 retirement tour, but for real this time.
Speaking with SiriusXM host Jose Mangin for Osbourne’s exclusive SiriusXM channel Ozzy’s Boneyard (Ch. 38), he wanted to make something perfectly clear: “I am not retiring. I am just not doing tours anymore.”
During the interview, Mangin asks Osbourne about the highlights and lowlights of life on the road.
He also asked him how it felt to perform the final Black Sabbath show in his hometown of Birmingham, U.K.
Of course, no interview with the Prince of Darkness is complete without a few questions about his rock-and-roll heyday. Since Ozzy and his son, Jack, will be filming the TV show Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour in Florida ahead of a few rock festivals, Mangin asked the icon his favorite thing about the Sunshine State.
“It used to be cocaine,” he joked.
