The NFL on Thanksgiving, the two go together like mashed potatoes and gravy, turkey and cranberries, pumpkin pie and whipped cream. Everyone remembers an iconic gridiron moment from Turkey Day, probably while lazing on the couch as the tryptophan worked its magic. And our NFL Radio’s own Brett Favre and Gil Brandt are no different.

The duo recently recalled some of their favorite Thanksgiving NFL moments, from the hard-to-forget Leon Lett and his bumbling of a loose pigskin during an icy and snowy Dolphins-Cowboys Turkey Day match in 1993, to Favre going toe-to-toe with Dallas’ Jason Garrett, our NFL experts reminisce about it all.
