Only a few days remain before the 2017 MLB Trade Deadline officially passes us by, but at least it’s shaping up to be a good one.

Miami Marlins’ Giancarlo Stanton hits a home run during the fifth inning of the team’s baseball game against the Philadelphia Phillies, Monday, July 17, 2017, in Miami. Stanton homered twice and Dee Gordon hit an RBI single with two outs in the 10th inning as the Marlins won 6-5.

Only a few days remain before the 2017 MLB Trade Deadline officially passes us by, but at least it’s shaping up to be a good one. And luckily for diehard baseball fans, MLB Network Radio is locked in with all the latest news.

One of the biggest stories in recent days is the possibility of perennial All-Star pitcher Yu Darvish being traded from the Texas Rangers before the July 31 deadline. Where will he land? SiriusXM’s Brad Lidge is passionate that the Los Angeles Dodgers need to do everything they can to sign the 30-year-old starter.

According to Lidge, Darvish would cement the Dodgers as one of the favorites (more than they already are) to win the World Series this year.

Elsewhere, our own Steve Phillips is keeping his eye on Blue Jays’ Marco Estrada and Jose Bautista. According to Phillips’ sources, it’s likely that we’ll see them in different uniforms before the season is over.

And while you may have heard that the New York Yankees are interested in signing Giancarlo Stanton, MLB Network Radio hosts are here to set the record straight. Instead, it’s possible that the St. Louis Cardinals may be making a move for the Marlins slugger.

In less than a week all of our questions will be answered, so the best move for you – diehard baseball fan – is to stay tuned into MLB Network Radio, XM Ch. 89, Sirius Ch. 209.
