Of course, the 6-2 Los Angeles Chargers run the risk of becoming a bit full of themselves, especially entering Sunday’s game against the 1-7 Oakland Raiders.

‘You just want to be physical with a division rival’

“This game is one of the games I’m most concerned about and I’ve been constantly reminding the guys (about that) all week, because they sit there and they listen to the media and the things that they say,” coach Anthony Lynn told Ross Tucker and Charlie Weis on The Opening Drive. “They’re human beings and they read the papers, but you just want to be physical with a division rival.”

‘I expect us to go out and play good ball’

“You just have to keep emphasizing those points. But I like the character of this team. I don’t think this team falls for stuff like that. We’ve been through a lot. It’s a tough football team, mentally, and I expect us to go out and play good ball.”
