LL COOL J, the heartbeat of Rock the Bells Radio (Ch. 43), launched a new show The Influence of Hip-Hop, featuring DJ Z-Trip. The debut episode premiered September 1 with one of the heaviest hitters in the game, Eminem, who himself heads up his own SiriusXM hip-hop channel, Shade 45, and dropped a SURPRISE album on Friday, Aug. 31, called Kamikaze.

In the true spirit of the Rock The Bells Radio, The Influence of Hip-Hop hosted by LL COOL J featuring DJ Z-Trip brings in some of the genre’s biggest names to get a transparent look into the songs that meant the most to them and the process that brought forth their favorite tracks.

They will also get a behind-the-scenes look into the process of creating great music and working in the industry, as well as the insights on life that they’ve gained throughout their careers.

Additionally, the show will feature interviews with heavyweights within the overall entertainment industry. These industry guests will sit down with LL to discuss the top ten tracks that defined their lives and share the reasons and life circumstances behind why these tracks had such a lasting impact on the world.
