Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love, who made headlines in December when he suggested to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski that the franchise didn’t have a “plan” for the future, changed course and was instead upbeat about the direction of the organization in an interview Monday on SiriusXM’s “Off The Dribble.”

“Winning really fixes everything,” Love said. “I think we have everything in place to win now, we just have to hold ourselves accountable.”

Love also spoke about comments made by fired T-Wolves GM David Kahn, who was critical about the 24-year-old in one of his exit interviews with the media. Kahn said that Love, who appeared in just 18 games during the 2012-13 regular season while dealing with injuries, needed to earn back the respect of his teammates.

“I just need to get back on the court,” Love replied on “Off The Dribble.” “As long as I show up early, I work hard, stay late and really try to be the leader of this team, I think that will really just cure any hard feelings or respect that was lost during that time.”

You can listen to SiriusXM’s Off The Dribble weekdays at noon ET on Sirius channel 92 and XM channel 208.
