St. Louis Rams rookie running back Zac Stacy joined In The Endzone with L.T. on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio Wednesday afternoon to talk about his recent success. The fifth round selection out of Vanderbilt told hosts LaDainian Tomlinson and John Hansen that he is taking advantage of the opportunity presented to him, and not allowing the praise from others get to his head. LT, a former NFL MVP, also offered words of wisdom to the rookie.

Success is defined when preparation meets opportunity, Zac. You are successful because you took advantage of that opportunity. Now, don’t look back. Keep going.

Stacy also talked about teammate and fellow rookie Tavon Austin who had a breakout game – 314 all-purpose yards, second-most in franchise history – in the Rams Week 10 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

Hopefully he can keep the momentum [from the last game] going. The things that he did against the Colts just shows his versatility. Whenever he has the ball in his hands you just hold your breath because he can break one at any moment. That was pretty much his coming out party, and we were all proud of the things that he did to help this team win.
