Josh Rosen remembers the stories from his parents.

As a baby, he always loved showing off that passing arm that is about to make him a first-round pick in the NFL Draft … and a very wealthy man.

‘I would like throw anything that I could get my hands on’

“Apparently, my crib room, when I was really young, was a dangerous place to walk into because like bottles would come flying out of nowhere,” Rosen told Bruce Murray and Phil Savage on the SiriusXM Blitz as part of pre-draft coverage from Arlington, Texas. “And I would like throw anything that I could get my hands on.”

Rosen threw well enough to become an outstanding quarterback at UCLA. Now, he is regarded one of the best players at his position for the draft, which kicks off Thursday night from AT&T Stadium.

‘Me and Derwin James, like he’s probably one of my best friends now’

He has enjoyed every bit of the pre-draft process, especially the people he has met along the way.

“It’s fun,” Rosen said. “I always talk about how the coolest part about this is just getting to meet people. I’m meeting people that I watched on TV growing up. Me and (Florida State safety prospect) Derwin James, like he’s probably one of my best friends now. And he’s from Florida, went to Florida State. I’m from UCLA, stayed in LA and in no other world would our paths have crossed. And just the fact that football has brought those kind of relationships together is really cool. And that’s why I think this game is so awesome.”
