Are you one of the fantasy football owners that has SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio host Jeff Mans ready to lose his mind?

Let’s find out:

Right now, according to the latest ADP numbers, we have Percy Harvin as the 15th wide receiver off the board. In my rankings, on fantasyalarm.com, he is the 45th wide receiver off the board. I mean, I don’t know man. What are you guys smoking out there, ’cause I want some. That is stupid. Stupid.

Oof.

Mans cited Harvin’s long injury history – “the guy has never been healthy in his life!” – then pointed out why the Seattle Seahawks’ offense isn’t friendly to wide receivers in fantasy football.

“Even if you think Percy Harvin is simply the greatest wide receiver; Calvin Johnson, in that offense, is not the No. 1 wide receiver,” Mans said. “People, you need to start understanding this, because if not, you’re going to be the doormat of your league way too often. You gotta understand the way it is. You can’t take a run-first, run-second team, only-pass-when-necessary, and make a top 15 wide receiver of that. You can do that no matter who it is. Jerry Rice, Calvin Johnson, Demaryius Thomas – you can’t make them produce fantasy numbers when the team doesn’t throw the ball. Period.”

So, yeah. Try to be conservative when drafting Harvin.
